Dr. Simons has been in pediatric practice in St Louis since 1973 as a primary care pediatrician and as a sub-specialty in developmental and behavioral pediatrics. He is an associate professor of pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine, and is the director of the pediatric resident training program for behavioral and developmental pediatrics.

Dr. Simons is married and has two sons. His interests include enjoying the outdoors, birds, photography, following sports and running.
